Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your The Daily Oracle account and all of its data at any time. Here's how.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

  1. Open the The Daily Oracle app.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Tap Account → "Delete my account."
  4. Confirm. Your account and data are permanently removed immediately.

This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email us from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you. We'll action verified requests within 30 days.

Request Account Deletion

If the email draft does not open on your device, simply send an email to hello@thedailyoracle.org from the email address associated with your account.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • your account and profile
  • your check-ins and progress
  • your journal entries and reflections
  • your Ask Odessa conversations
  • your saved items and Freedom File entries

Our service providers may retain limited backups for a short period under their own policies, after which the data is purged. We may retain minimal records where required by law.

Important: cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. To stop billing, cancel in your store account first:

  • iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → The Daily Oracle
  • Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
